What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and the contents of your order. When you contact us we keep the message so we can answer it. When you browse the site our host records standard server logs, and your browser stores a cart cookie so your cart survives a page reload.
We never see or store your full card number. Payments are processed by our payment provider; the card details go to them directly and we receive only a confirmation and the last four digits.
Why we collect it
- To take payment, pack your order and ship it.
- To email order confirmations, tracking and any problem with your order.
- To handle returns and warranty claims, which sometimes means giving your details to the manufacturer to process a claim on your behalf.
- To meet our tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
Our payment processor, our shipping carriers, and a manufacturer when we are filing a warranty claim for you. That is the list. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not rent our customer list.
Transactional email about your order is always sent. Marketing email is opt-in only, and every one of those has an unsubscribe link that actually works.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and warranty obligations require, typically seven years. Contact form messages are kept for two years. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email the shop and we will handle it. If you have an account you can view and edit most of it yourself under My Account.
Cookies
We use the cookies WooCommerce needs to run a cart and a checkout, and a session cookie if you log in. You can clear or block them in your browser; the cart will stop working if you do.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
